Stanford was responsive and had a great price for moving all the large items from my 1-bedroom apartment to my new place that is only a mile and a half away from my old one. There aren't enough stars for Josh and his team. My move was about 10 miles but what it lacked in distance it made up for with complexity. I threw a lot of crazy stuff at them, like disassembling and reassembling my Peloton bike and tread, transporting delicate antiques and 80 boxes that I basically just threw stuff into. Josh and his team did an amazing job of moving my things across town! They spent the first day moving my many concrete pots with established citrus trees in them, concrete fountains and statuary, concrete benches, Outside chairs, tables, a sofa and lounges, 20 pique assiette mosaic stepping stones and more. These guys are STRONG! Did I mention the "guns" on Josh? He is the strongest mover in the Monterey Bay Area. The second day they systematically dismantled beds and furniture, carefully packed and moved a 3 bedroom home and garage full of tools and tons of stuff. THEN they moved all of my worldly goods to my new home, set up the beds and were careful and considerate of my belongings and the floors and walls, too. Moving was emotionally exhausting for me, but Josh and his team made it as stressless as possible. A really good experience. Oh, and they were reasonably priced!

When moving from Colorado to Santa Cruz, we rented and drove a Budget truck across country and upon arrival released we needed lots of help unloading and moving into our house. We read positive reviews on Stanford, called Josh, and he was able to shift a couple of things around in order to show up the following day with his great team of guys! They were careful, considerate and very polite and did a terrific job getting everything in the right place. I asked them to move a few bigger pieces a couple of times and they were awesome about that, too. To top it off, we had a second location that needed furniture from our move and they came the next moving and made this happen no problem. I'm finally writing this review because I'm gearing up to call Gabby and Josh again. They're my *go to* moving team, Gabby is super responsive and Josh is...well...superman? Dude is STRONG. He and Jessie have gotten my family out of so many jams at this point. They've picked up stuff from a freight company and delivered it to my house. They've helped me unpack trucks. They've literally had to deal with the worst packing jobs ever (by non-supermen), and were able to get things done safely and quickly. Love these guys, they make me wish I had more stuff to move just to hang out with them.
